I was gonna commit on the advantages and disadvantages of computers in today's society. I am in the middle of editing my sound ops final project and i appreatiate the computer. With out it i could not get it done at all. That does not mean that the computer has not giving me fits. Again, I don't really see a connection between your frustrations with using a program or an unstable operating system and what we've coverd in class. Give me example of where techological dependance has had significant impacts on communication and society. I'd strongly reccommend looking into the work of Marshall McLuhan if you are going to persue this theme.
